I loved the Deadlocked series, and enjoyed The Widowsfield trilogy. I look forward to finishing Among the Masses, and have yet to start the Lincoln Pierce mysteries. This compilation of short stories is really cool. The second Body Farm story is a brutal yet appropriate conclusion to that short duology. The Racetrack is a shocking insight into the author's past, though it doesn't quite feel akin to the others in the collection. As for the Prey series, I really liked Prey No More, but Prey Again is clearly only half a tale that manages to divulge more details on the world and the relationships of the new characters without truly furthering the story.Product details

nice collection of short stories
Love the "Prey" series.. all the stories in this book are great.. each draws you in.. truly a great collection. I will be looking forward to reading "Prey No More"
Aaron Wise is a fantastic author. He is definitely on parr with Koontz, King and others of that stature. If you just love books that grip you by the "dangly bits" and take you on the ride of your life, then you will absolutely LOVE Aaron Wise! It's guaranteed that you will never regret picking up one of his books, the only trouble you will have is putting it down before it's finished!
Fast paced horror, gory as hell!! Prey stories are phenomenal! Doesn't leave you wanting more. I've read short stories before and walked away disappointed with the endings, but these stories left me very happy indeed!
I loved every story in this collection. Mr. Wise is one of my favorite writers. I knew that I would like the Prey books, but it's beyond like. I loved those two books. He really knows how to keep you interested! I never want to stop reading them. He keeps me up all night!
A.R. Wise, is one of the best writers I've come across. His books don't drag out, leaving you waiting for it to end, he keeps you interested throughout the books. Sex, Drugs, and Dead Things.. hmm I wasn't sure what to expect, being that I'm usually a novel kinda gal, but I was pleasantly surprised. I encourage you to read his books. You won't regret it.
You Will enjoy each and every story, A.R.Wise is not just a good writer he's so into his writing it is as if you're inside his head watching the story being born and each page, paragraph and line coming into the world. Never a bad time reading his works.
